Laminam produces ceramic slabs of size from 1000×3000 up to 1620×3240 mm with thicknesses ranging from 3 to 20 mm.

Laminam produces exclusively in Italy, in the Fiorano Modenese plant, in the heart of the province of Modena, and can therefore rely on highly sophisticated skills and professionalism at every level of the company, from production to research.

Laminam started from a deep knowledge of the methods, techniques and products of our sector of origin to identify new ways. Born in 2001 from an idea by Ing. Franco Stefani, innovator of the ceramics industry, who conceived this product by realizing its production technology. Their origin is the patent of the production technology of ceramic slabs with a large surface and minimum thickness that, in the early 2000s, created a completely new product – the large format and minimum thickness ceramics – giving new impetus to a mature sector. From here, they began to imagine new and innovative uses of this material, to exploit its full potential, both in the usual areas of application, such as architecture and interior and exterior coatings, and in new sectors such as furniture and design. Today Laminam produces ceramic surfaces of great size, characterized by eclecticism and versatility, with multiple applications in traditional architecture as well as in the advanced one, in furnishing and design.

Laminam uses a highly automated production process to produce a revolutionary ceramic slab with a large surface in thicknesses from 3 to 20mm. The production process of Laminam revolves around an exclusive system of compaction of extremely selected and refined clays and feldspar. Among the other leading technologies used by Laminam, refined slab decoration systems and dry cutting systems that reduce water consumption and purification costs. Laminam produces in Italy, in the Fiorano Modenese (MO) and Borgotaro (PR) plants and in Russia in the Vorsino Industrial Park, not far from Moscow, relying on highly sophisticated skills and professionalism at every level of the company, from production to research. In Laminam, research and product technological innovation aim to constantly improve the architectural quality of the spaces, and therefore the quality of life of those who use them. These large surface slabs, obtained through a patented production process, have made new and innovative ceramic applications possible. The widening of the application areas has had as a necessary consequence the search for a diversification of the surfaces and, in particular of thicknesses, textures and couplings, to satisfy all the plastic, mechanical and aesthetic needs of new productive interlocutors and new end users. Also from the point of view of the decoration of the surfaces, Laminam has introduced technological innovations that guarantee the inalterability of the characteristics and the chromatic properties of the slabs, which remain unchanged over time, even if exposed to atmospheric agents. In his research, Laminam does not forget the attention to the environment: natural raw materials, sustainable production technology, entirely recyclable products.
