Salone del Mobile – Milan 17th -22th April 2018

Milan opens the doors of the fair at the Salone del Mobile which, this year, is also the 2018 International Bathroom Exhibition: an important appointment for all the sector’s employees.
If the Salone del Mobile is known and recognized internationally, Fuorisalone is no less so: neighborhoods in Milan which, in the days of the fair, host in their historic buildings, courtyards, clubs, companies and often innovative proposals. Perhaps it is the Fuorisalone that, on the side of the institutional exhibition space, allows you to grasp ideas, know emerging realities, nurture the imagination of visitors.

Among all the districts, in recent years, Via Brera has certainly emerged, called “Brera Design District”: it is here that Officinarkitettura has chosen to double its presentation:

New Worlds “Cinema Bellinzona” c / o the Store120% Lino in via Pontaccio 19 and “Wall of Rock” c / o Store 120% Linen in C.so Garibaldi ang. Via Marsala 13

The “Cinema Bellinzona” collection is inspired by the archeology of the cinema of the late 1700s. In this period optical illusions, machines for dreaming and magic lanterns circulated through the squares creating amazement and emotions in the crowd. In particular, they are reviewed in a contemporary key and with the use of innovative “new worlds”, perspective views of cities that, by moving the light source, created a fascinating night / day transition.

“Wall of Rock” is a collection inspired by the exciting world of Rock. Massimo Cotto, radio host on Virgin Radio, journalist and music expert, told anecdotes and stories of Rock, which Officinarkitettura wanted to transpose on the surfaces, wallpaper and thin laminated stoneware maxi format. The images in the “Wall of Rock” series can be used as an interior lining.

Officinarkitettura: Luminous panels inspired by the archeology of cinema

On the occasion of the Milan Design Week 2018, Officinarkitettura® presents the new “Cinema Bellinzona” line with the New Mondi set-up. Location of the presentation event will be the 120% store in Via Pontaccio, 19, which from April 17 to 22 is transformed into an exhibition gallery with the aim of giving visitors a path through the world of architecture, design and fashion.

This is how the views of Piazza Duomo and the Navigli of Milan proposed by Officinarkitettura® come on thanks to the night lights and magical effects that create suggestive settings, here proposed on wallpaper and on bright canvas.
