RAK Ceramics is one of the largest brands in the world in the ceramic sector. Every year it produces more than 110 million square meters of ceramic and porcelain stoneware floor and wall tiles and 5 million sanitary ware, in the 16 current plants distributed between United Arab Emirates, India, Bangladesh and Iran. RAK Ceramics was the first company in the UAE to have received international ISO 9001 certification and the English CICS (Ceramic Research Institute Certification Scheme) certification for ceramic and sanitary production. Recently the Bureau Veritas has verified the implementation of the Quality System according to ISO 9001: 2015 requirements which include the design, development, production and supply of ceramic tiles for floors, walls, slabs in porcelain and sanitary ware (acrylic bathtubs) , shower trays, toilet seats). The Bureau Veritas has also awarded the ISO 14001: 2015 certification for environmental impact to RAK Ceramics.
The experimental tile and sanitary laboratories operate according to the ISO / IEC 17025 standards, accredited by the NATA (National Association of Testing Authorities, Australia).
As a member of the EGBC (Emirates Green Building Council), RAK Ceramics supports the promotion and development of sustainable construction in the United Arab Emirates.
